Oregon turned 150 on February 14, 2009. The Employment Department has produced a special commemorative book featuring the history of work in Oregon, including stories about Oregon pioneer families. Unemployment Insurance Information
Form 1099-G Available in the Online Claims System
Form 1099-G for 2009 is now available in the Online Claims System, under Status of your claim. To access the information, you will need to enter your Social Security number and your PIN number. Your PIN number is the four digit number used to claim your weekly benefits.

All 1099-G forms for tax year 2009 will be mailed by the end of January. If you do not receive it, and you do not remember your PIN number to get the information online, contact your UI Center to update your address and request a duplicate copy be mailed.
Benefit Extensions Currently Available
During these hard economic times, there are three unemployment insurance benefit extension programs to assist Oregonians out of work through no fault of their own. Those programs are known as Emergency Unemployment Compensation (EUC) tiers 1, 2, 3, and 4, Extended Benefits (EB), and Oregon Emergency Benefits 2 (OEB-2)

In the Online Claim System you can:
-File a new application
-Claim a week of benefits
-Restart a claim
-Check the status of your claim
-Apply for direct deposit
-Change your address
-Reset your PIN number
