The Inclusive Child Care Committee is a subcommittee of the Childhood Care and Education Coordinating Council (CCECC). The purpose of the Inclusive Child Care Committee is to:

Identify issues, effective practices and barriers related to child care and out-of-school time programs for Oregon children and adolescents with special needs and their families;

Recommend policy and best practice that support inclusion of children and youth with diverse needs and abilities in child care and out-of-school time settings.

Make recommendations to the CCECC and receive charges from the CCECC related to issues concerning child care and children with special needs;

Work with partners to remove barriers to inclusion of children and youth in typical child care and out-of-school time settings.

Provide education and support to parents on issues related to child care and out-of-school time settings for children and youth with special needs.
The Inclusive Child Care Committee is composed of interested agency and organization representatives, as well as parent and provider representatives from around the state. The Committee is headed by two co-chairs, The Inclusive Child Care Program provide staffing support for the Committee.
